"How about something with a sharp blade...like a paper cutter?!"
"Yes, that's it!"
"Ahhh...nap time!"
Criteria for a good greyhound pillow*: Hard as a rock? Check! Able to slice off one's ears? Check! Resembles guillotine, or other device used for executions? Check!

(No, I will not share my chopping block pillow with you!)

HA - Gravy is a REBEL. :)
Very funny indeed...hubs and I had a good chuckle about this :-)
P.S. We were both wondering what the number printed in Gravy's ear is, though? We've never seen that before.
The number in his ear is a tattoo! Before we adopted him, Gravy was a racing greyhound and their ears are tattooed for identification purposes at the racetrack.
The numbers can still be used to look up a dog's pedigree or racing history. Here's Gravy's: http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?i=1470523
So Gravy is a 'salvaged' dog with a gritty past...so the tattoo is fitting...as is the reckless abandon for choosing pillows ;-)
Ok, but seriously now - that must've hurt! IN the friggin' ear.
It's as bad as those rings they put through a bull's nose, or those tags through cows' ears, or docking dogs' tails. All sucky practices!
P.S. Thanks for the "inspire"!
