Clearly there is something wrong with me.

And I'm so glad I've finally learned that if you don't like a book you can stop reading it. No one is going to test me on it. Ever.

I get reading in to my days by reading at the gym in the morning while I'm on the elliptical. A good book is even more reason to workout.

And reading this post? Best way to spend my bit of free time at work.Brandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06814989061078872030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8616163624033566299.post-51729575266088882562012-09-24T17:00:00.722-04:002012-09-24T17:00:00.722-04:00Thanks, Sarah! We are two peas in pod with so many things in this post - book hangover, BSC, and that my next book is Wild (just got the notification from the library today!) :)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04153056319915938065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8616163624033566299.post-66829246514664222232012-09-24T13:51:44.636-04:002012-09-24T13:51:44.636-04:00Karen - I think Wild is perfect for outdoorsy type...Karen - I think Wild is perfect for outdoorsy types like us. I would love to have the balls to do a major months-long hike, but I think I might be too much of a wuss. I'll have to live vicariously through books! I'm only about 50 pages in, but already the first chapter made me cry.Funnelcloud Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12090193674723900588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8616163624033566299.post-59478700365064319312012-09-24T13:35:41.658-04:002012-09-24T13:35:41.658-04:00You are the second person I know in blogland who i...You are the second person I know in blogland who is reading Wild. It is definitely not the type of book I usually read (post-apocalyptic fiction is Larry's cup of tea, not mine!), but it kept my interest the whole way through. I still haven't seen the movie - there were so many scenes from that book that I don't really need to see brought to life!Funnelcloud Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12090193674723900588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8616163624033566299.post-53488659230879626182012-09-24T10:47:08.720-04:002012-09-24T10:47:08.720-04:00I love book posts!

When I don't have time to read, I get stressed. It's a weird circle.

What did you think of The Road? Everyone I know hated it, but I loved it so much I can barely articulate why. (Not to be confused with On the Road, which, like you, I could not stand.)

Jason says I read weird, depressing books. (I do. I like to read about the apocalypse.)
